Orlando has always been a hot spot for artists and animators and working at Tiburon has allowed me the opportunity to collaborate and learn from some of the best talent in the industry. My average work week is totally reasonable and I never have to worry about not having enough time to spend with my family. The studio's location is ideally suited to my personal lifestyle and I get to live in a nice, natural area that is well outside of the hustle and bustle of town.

What Do I Do in My Free Time?

I love spending time outdoors learning about animal biology and our natural ecosystems and how I can reduce my family's impact on the environment. My favorite activity is fishing and there is no better place for a die-hard angler than Florida! When I am not out playing explorer I focus on my personal artwork, work on cars, study world history or just hang out with my wife and daughter and our five Chihuahuas.

What's My Career Path?

I would like to develop my craft as an animator and one day become a lead artist for a group such as the one that I work with. I am constantly exploring both the technical and creative sides of the 3D animation process so that I can have a solid foundation for such a role. Beyond that I may look to pursue a role as an art director and use my experience and talent to help drive the visual quality of our products.

What I'm Working on Today

I am currently part of a team that handles the animations for our football titles including Madden NFL, NCAA Football, NFL Tour and NFL Head Coach. We have been really busy this summer creating all new animations for NFL Tour such as gang tackles, wall tackles and counters and reversals. I am also part of a group of developers where my responsibility is to identify the animation needs of any new features that we may want to implement in future iterations of our games.
